Big Changes for CtrlAltCrit; also Version 0.6.1!

Hello fellow Mavericks and Maverick Hunters! 

First, we have updated the 21XX Foundation Guide to Version 0.6.1! You can download it right now!

Now that we've got that out of the way, we have some news!

Starting on August 1st, the CtrlAltCrit YouTube channel will be rebranding to '21XX: The Mega Man X Tabletop RPG', and will primarily focus on 21XX and Mega Man-related content going forward.

All non-21XX content will be migrated to a second 'CtrlAltCrit Archives' channel, which will also launch officially on August 1st.

So why are we making these changes?

Strictly speaking, approximately 98 percent of our Subscriber funds are allocated by you, the fans, for the development of 21XX only. We are taking the opportunity to re-focus our optics on development and ensuring all admin hands are on deck to focus on 21XX from a networking and community growth standpoint.

So you're dropping the CtrlAltCrit name?

Our Discord server and Twitch account will still maintain the name 'CtrlAltCrit' because that is the company that is developing 21XX, but our goal is to improve visibility on the project by making sure that those who search up '21XX' on social media will find exactly what they're looking for.

Are you no longer producing video content?

Quite the opposite, in fact! The most important reason we are doing this cannot be overstated: We’re not only bringing back the 21XX Episodic Series, we’re bringing back two of them.

Due to popular demand, our 21XX Streams that showcase the tabletop game will now be Episodic content, following a coherent story and new cast. We will be unveiling two streams. The first, beginning on August 1st, 2025, is set in the early Mega Man X era, moments before the Day of Sigma, and will continue well beyond into other games. The second stream, beginning on August 15th, 2025, is a time-traveling, era-hopping, anything-goes Rockman XOVER series, where we’ll be showcasing future 21XX Supplement content LIVE before their eventual release mid or end of season. We’ll be announcing the casts for each series soon, and have plenty more surprises that will be in store for you all, so please stay tuned and get equipped with hype!

Any other big changes?

As August rolls around, we will be announcing new Public Operators and Subscriber Operators that are not Sean, as the majority of his time will be spent in active development of 21XX, maintaining a proper administrative role, and focusing all other creative endeavors on the development of the two video series mentioned above, with a few more surprises in wait.

Thank you all for your continued support and understanding. This shift going forward was a massive undertaking, but we hope it captures more attention to the game that we know you all love to play.
